'The art of black & white photography' explores photography through the use of the monochrome image. 
The workshop will begin looking at 'famous' images and then developing one's skills through practical application.
Historical and technical content, through digital exploration, will engage participants to develop their photographic practice post workshop.
Emphasis will be aimed towards documentary landscape photography and reportage.

General information

.'The art of black & white photography', is informal classroom/gallery/digital darkroom and location based, situated at 
photoworkshopwales, Ystradgynlais, Powys, Wales.
.The course begins at 10.00am and finishes approx. 4.30pm (daily).
.Refreshments and packed/buffet lunch is provided.
.Transport to location shoots during the course.

What should I bring?
Camera, spare batteries, memory card, lenses, tripod, filters, memory stick or external hard drive, camera cables, warm waterproof clothing, suitable footwear, change of clothing and footwear. (we do have some tripods that can be used)
What level of photography is the course aimed?
All levels of experience with an interest in capturing images through the medium of black and white.
What is not included in the price?
Transport to and from photoworkshopwales. 
Overnight accommodation.
It is strongly recommended that you take personal holiday insurance and equipment insurance.
