Payment : As we ask for the fee in one payment, a full refund can be given two months or more, prior to the course, if you decide to cancel. Within the two months before your course begins, we cannot refund any of the moneys paid by you, but we will try and reschedule you on a similar course at a future date.
The receipt of a fee does not imply acceptance of a booking. We will confirm the acceptance of your booking in writing and it is at the time we send conformation that we enter into a legal contract. No change or cancellation by the client can be made unless a written application is made and each case will be looked at on an individual basis by the photoworkshopwales team.
We reserve the right to cancel a course through unforeseen circumstances. You will either be offered a different date or you will have a full refund. We will give notice no less than 7 days of a change or cancellation in dates.
photoworkshopwales reserves the right to alter prices for future courses without notification to individuals or groups, which will be shown on the website. Once a booking fee has been paid, the course fee will not be changed for that particular course.
Any loss or damage of your equipment and/or possessions is not in any way the responsibility of photoworkshopwales. We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate insurance.
Any damage of photoworkshopwales property caused by an individual studying at photoworkshopwales, will be deemed the responsibility of the individual concerned.
All courses include tuition, course notes, a free gift pack and transport (unless stated on the course description) to and from photo shoot locations during the course. Accommodation is included during some of the workshops, unless otherwise stated.
If you are studying at the photoworkshopwales base, 'Celynen De', each course will begin with an explanation of how to leave the building in an event of an emergency. If you are studying on a course where location visits are included, safety guidelines will be explained verbally. Risk assessments are available on request for individual participants on our courses.
If you are traveling in one of the photoworkshopwales vehicles during your course, it is compulsory to wear a seat belt and you will be asked to place your equipment in a secure place on the vehicle, in case of an emergency.
We strictly run a no smoking policy in our vehicles and all the interior areas at photoworkshopwales. However, there is an area located outside of 'Celynen De' where smoking is permitted.
It is important and the responsibility of individual participants to disclose any illness or dietary needs prior to the course. This can be done by sending an email to photoworkshopwales@yahoo.co.uk. If we do not have written confirmation, we will deem you not to have any medical conditions or have any food alleges or preferences.
If you are on a course where there are location visits, you must have a moderate to good fitness level.
The digital darkroom at photoworkshopwales is accessed via a flight of stairs on the first floor of the building. The studio/gallery is on the lower ground floor. There are a few steps placed around the building. We will do our best to cater for individual needs, but cannot guarantee specific needs. Please contact us if you have any questions.
All courses start at times indicated, but this may change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Participants will receive guidance and a safety briefing of their field study and how best to treat the outdoor environment. photoworkshopwales does not take responsibility for individual who injure themselves, or damage their personal possessions through negligence on the clients behalf.
Personal or equipment insurance is the sole responsibility of the customer.
All customers are expected to have a moderate to good level of fitness
Transport to and from photoworkshopwales is not provided and therefor is not part of the workshop prices. However, transport during the course is provided to ferry clients to and from the location photo shoots. The one day courses do not provide transport between shooting venues.
